One workshop.One core intelligence.
Every station in the workshop logs what it does and sends it to one core. The core intelligence collects each line, keeps the record and issues the JobPack that ships with the part.
Walk the stationsLine drawing of the workshop in isometric: the technical office, the cold store, the cutting table, the lay-up bench with the tablet, the vacuum pump, the walk-in oven and the inspection bench. From each one a line rises, turns and runs level into the core intelligence, which issues the JobPack.

It starts asa drawing
Technical office
The part is drawn in CAD, and its ply book and written cure profile are set before any material leaves the cold store.
Logged The drawing, the ply book and the cure profile are the plan every later line is checked against.
Into the JobPack Drawing, ply book, cure profile
The lot isthe first line
Cold store
Prepreg is held cold on the roll until it is cut.
Logged Each roll carries its lot number, read when the roll comes out.

Cut to theply book
Cutting table
Each ply is cut to its outline from the ply book and nested on the roll.
Logged Every piece is logged against the roll it came from.
Into the JobPack Ply outlines and lots
Laid and logged,ply by ply
Lay-up bench
Plies go onto the mould one at a time, in the order of the ply book.
Logged Each ply is logged as it goes down: its lot, its orientation and the minute it was laid.
Into the JobPack Every ply, its orientation and time
Tablet
At the bench, where the operator records the work as it is done.
Logged The operator logs the mould and each ply on it, so every entry carries who made it and on which mould.

The part is checked with a 3D scanner and a caliper, and its clear coat is read at twelve points.
Logged Dimensions and the twelve readings are logged against the 40 to 50 µm band: the last lines before release.
